Qik.com spiked the ball by posting a video showcasing support for the iPhone. Now, one month later I see the iPhone featured on their homepage linking to that old announcement video by Michael Fortson.
Supposedly the functionality for the iPhone is in private alpha, but I cant seem to find anything definitive regarding this on the qik site. Attempting to signup for the service is pretty much useless, as I still wait for my acceptance notification requested back in May.
A few screen shots of the non 3G iPhone interface has surfaced, but there is no telling if these are authentic. With the 3G iPhone just 3days away, I would think there would be more chatter regarding Qik on the new iPhone. But, still nothing.
Rather than announcing and hyping mythical iPhone support lets hear what the public can actually consume. Today. Lets hear what Qik has coming for the 3G iPhone. Will iTunes App Store have a Qik Application? Whats the price?
My interest in Qik is quickly fading.

Ollie ParsleyI am actually helping Qik alpha test the iPhone software. It does exist and I have a video demo on my blog at http://ollieparsley.com . There are some bugs with it so I am doubting there will be a App Store launch (it would be for free) but it definitely exists. I am not sure what benefit there is to having the iPhone on the front page.

SIGEPJEDI@Ollie Parsley - Yep. You are the only one I was really able to find online. Though, I have to be honest… Some of your posts seemed faked.
Ollie ParsleyAll the posts are real and not faked at all. I actually wrote a really angry article about Qik a month or so ago, so they are not all positive.
