I can finally stream music from the interwebz through my car via the iPhone 3G & Pandora. Here is a quick and dirty video showing it live. - sorry for the dark video below.

If you havent heard the buzz on the new iPhone 3G and the available Applications which you can download through Apple’s iTunes App store, here is one to knock your socks of. Pandora.

With Pandora you can explore this vast trove of music to your heart’s content. Just drop the name of one of your favorite songs or artists into Pandora and let the Genome Project go. It will quickly scan its entire world of analyzed music, almost a century of popular recordings - new and old, well known and completely obscure - to find songs with interesting musical similarities to your choice. Then sit back and enjoy as it creates a listening experience full of current and soon-to-be favorite songs for you.

Now, bundle that up and insert this into your Car! Thats right, your car. Driving down the road at 70MPH (check your local speed limits) with access to a unlimited supply of your favorite music, and beyond via the internet!

Its something that I have certainly tried to accomplish for years now. Trying to access this very same functionality via a data cable plugged into a laptop plugged into a cell phone. Year after Year = FAIL

Some have labeled Pandora as the iTunes KILLER! After connecting this to my cars AUX jack, I must admit that Im not using CD’s or iPod for my music needs in the car.
